You mention that the Gra wrote in his peirush on Shi Hashirim that he holds that the 3 shevuos refer to the Beis Hamikdash only and not to a general prohibition requiring passivity regarding Moshiach with respect to aliya and the like.
I would be grateful if you could give the exact source for this Gra as i could not find it.

I know this an old article and post but re gra saying 3 shvuos refers only to building the bais hamikdash The source i found was given as siddur gra; gra on tikunei zohar t.26 I found the second reference but the problem is he doesnt say that he only says in context of the general shvua shelo yidchaku es hakeitz To apply that to all 3 shvuos isn’t logical bc lo yaalu bachoma isnt the “keitz” its specifically about yaalu bachoma I dont pretend to be an expert in zohar or gra at all but read words With all… Read more »
