I’ve lived and worked all over Israel since making aliya. If you want to avoid the intense heat and humidity of the coast, and are in some way observant, Jerusalem and smaller communities in Gush Etzion are your best bet.Best climate in the country. My favorite neighborhood by far is Ramot 06 – has it all. Great central location, exceptional local shopping including some higher end kosher stuff (huge mall, best French Bakery in the country, etc. (Ramot alone is the size of a small city) and relatively wide selection of American-sized private homes and large semi-attached homes and cottages… Read more »
