If you want to avoid the intense heat and humidity of the coast, and are in some way observant, Jerusalem and smaller communities in Gush Etzion are your best bet.Best climate in the country. My favorite neighborhood by far is Ramot 06 – has it all. Great central location, exceptional local shopping including some higher end kosher stuff (huge mall, best French Bakery in the country, etc. (Ramot alone is the size of a small city) and relatively wide selection of American-sized private homes and large semi-attached homes and cottages… Read more »

Pricey… where can we live for less ?
I am thinking about relocating to Tel Aviv from the US & looking for the best neighborhood for someone who does nnot speak fluent Hebrew
Anglo is a term not applicable to Jews. Anglophone is a better way to describe an English speaking person.
