Hi I did see a document where they did tell about diggings in Jericho. They told the town was burn many times during the history, but one case did rise curiosity. The expert told that about 1580BCE Jericho was burned down soon after harvest which would be about the time Pesah was. The wall had fllen all around except from one small place. After that burn the Jericho was unhabited for long time. That fits the biblic narrative.
