My daughters were attending high school in Brooklyn (we live in New Jersey) on 9/11. As it became clear that they would not be able to come home that evening, my daughters’ yeshiva sprung into action and they placed our daughters, as well as whoever else needed it, in parents homes. I don’t remember their names, but two of the kindest families in I have known hosted and comforted our daughters. I will never forget their act of chesed nor the quick action of the leaders of Prospect Park Yeshiva.
Good article. Thank you! FYI, FDNY lost 343 personnel on 9/11. Although the majority were firefighters, several members were paramedics.
Wishing you a happy, healthy and peaceful New Year!

Thank you for your service. I’ll ask that the figure be corrected. Happy and healthy new year as well.
