Great article. One point to note is that Germans removed any rights to own firearms in pre-WWII Germany – look what happened after that. Also, although horrific and tragic, the events in Texas were not secondary to a law-abiding citizen’s rights to protect themselves, nor to a fundamental right given to US citizens by our constitution, but many circumstances that are still unfolding and we therefore should not be quick to judge. We certainly should not consider removing a fundamental right either based on emotion. The founders of this country may not have the high accolades in religious law as… Read more »

Indeed, Jewish people should be armed. One who has never even used fire arms how could this one comment rationally about it? How can one expect another to save them with the fire arms if the governments have been known for doing the vast majority of killing all over earth since the beggining of time the idea is absolutely ludicrous is it not? Is a car a deadly weapon? Are the fists of a black belt deadly weapons? What is written in Torah.
