Great article! And right on. I’ve been a gabbai for 30 years, and everybody looks forward to my klops. Usually 1 or 2, but two weeks ago needed 3. I waited 2 seconds before the third — to give a bit of drama to those waiting for it!

Addition to the above comment: The three klaps were on Mozt’ai Shabbos for Hanukah, Rosh Chodesh, and the beginning of v’sayn tal u’matar.
