How can we bring G-d into the classroom, into our homes, and most importantly, into our children’s hearts and minds?
Students are asked to consider, some for the first time, what is the arc of their religious narrative? What types of stories are their religious lives telling?
God is our constant companion. He’s a member of our family, He’s a member of our office space, He’s a member of our social circle. He’s a companion in our lives wherever we go and in whatever we do.
They will all have challenges in their lives, I thought, and I want them to see that someone with a difficult challenge can get through it with cheerfulness and faith.
Yet I walked away with two deep takeaways. The first was to stop being afraid to talk about God.
